Dr Russell's Imaginarium
1 x 28min - Documentary / TV Special / Factual

Discover the inspiring story behind Dr Russell's wonderous antique store based in Guildford, Western Australia. Despite a major setback, Dr Russell decided that he would follow his dreams, never giving up on creating the life he always imagined.

“This documentary project came about after visiting the shop and being inspired by Phill's passion for collecting and for pursuing his dreams. I wanted to learn more and used the project to delve into the world of antique collecting and tp discover what makes people passionate about it. It quickly became apparent that Phill is still very in touch with his imagination and uses it to create and bring his objects to life. To showcase this colourful story, I drew from my own imagination to create a Show and Tell like structure and animation elements to inspire and entertain viewers” - Brendan Joel (Producer / Director)
