Exploring Worlds, Sharing Stories, Stirring Imaginations.
Based in Boorloo, Perth, Western Australia.

Brendan's filmmaking journey began over a decade ago, crafting story-driven music videos and promotional films for Perth artists and local businesses.

In 2015 he began a creative collaboration with vocal loop artist Sam Perry (The Voice Australia Winner 2018) and co created ;The World Is,’ an innovative 60minute audio/visual stage show made on a shoestring budget, which toured Perth and Adelaide,

Over the years he has followed his passion and honed his skills in visual storytelling, drawn to its ability to offer unique perspectives and take viewers on incredible journeys. His curious nature and imaginative approach to storytelling have led to a diverse range of projects including sharing stories for Make A Wish Foundation, Officeworks, BP and travelling Western Australia filming with Desert Collectors (7mate).

Brendan studied at the WA Screen Academy in 2018, specialising in cinematography. He received the Channel 9 Award of Excellence for cinematography and a Silver ACS Award for his work on the short sci-fi film Spiral.

His debut documentary, 'Dr. Russell's Imaginarium', premiered on SBS Australia on Christmas Eve 2021 and his follow up antiques series concept ‘World of Curiosities’ won a 2023 WA Screen Culture Award for Innovation.

Under the banner of Stir Films, Brendan continues to push creative boundaries, producing compelling documentaries, films, series and bespoke creative content.
